Obama taps gay bishop to wrap Easter Prayer Breakfast with invocation - Washington Times

I think it is a slap in the face to bible believing Christians across the country, that Obama would choose the first openly-gay Episcopal bishop to lead the closing prayer at his 5th Annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast.

Good for the President! And the Bishop

President Obama had an evangelical, anti-gay preacher give a prayer during his first inauguration? You can't have it your way every time.

Your President is exhibiting wisdom and foresight.

Good for him.

(And then there's the guilty pleasure of watching Fundavangelists get their panties in a bunch.)

I find it funny how many people voted him in because he is a Christian and had Christians values, but his actions have been more pro LGBT than Christian.

And in your world, a person can't be both?

No, i dont support what God calls an abomination. While I have a couple of Gay friends, I dont treat them any different, but i dont agree with their lifestyles either.

Jesus himself said how he will treat those that are luke warm..He will spit them out his mouth. Its either you are one or the other, but you cant be both.

Is there some connection between his sexual orientation and his responsibility to lead prayer at this event? Will the prayer somehow be tainted because he's gay?

The poll doesn't have the option "It doesn't make a difference." There's no "Should" one way or the other.

Would you be okay with Obama choosing a Bishop that was openly cheating on their wife and had no regrets about it to do this Easter breakfast as well too?

Either way it is sexual immorality, just like the LGBT lifestyle is too.

Will the prayer somehow be tainted because he's gay? No, but i can rephrase that as well

Will the prayer somehow be tainted because he's a rapist?
Will the prayer somehow be tainted because he's serial killer?
Will the prayer somehow be tainted because he's a KKK member?

Either way its hypocritical to have someone leading a prayer to God that goes strictly against what God says or how he wants us to live.

A Christian Minister/Pastor/Bishop are to be the examples of how to walk according to what God says and those that dont end will be destruction.

Philippians 3
17 Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. 18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.

Pastor/Bishops that ignore what God says, even while claiming to be God followers are practicing liars who love a lie, and love the praises of men, more that the praises of God.
