Heaven's mercy at the hands of the saracen is questionable as we are all well aware.

Schuller is not exactly a pillar of gospel accuracy either..........
The man is an opportunist. He did well in his day, but his day is over.

So too, apparently, is Mr. Graham's hour. The clock of history is about to chime again. When it does Mr. Graham will conclude his part in the passions and pursuits of man.

For decades, Billy Graham avoided dilution of the gospel but it seems old age has subverted his stand. It seems to be another sign of the times. An encroaching apathy and withering of Christendom as a whole is at hand. The great falling away, spoken of in the New Testament, is upon us all. Nobody seems to know what's going on and even the best of us are at a loss as to how to stop or slow the receding tide of Christian culture.

The only simple explanation available is that the days of apostasy are here. We are in it up to our necks whether we choose to admit it or no.

If true, then the Biblical warning should be taken seriously. There will be no more Billy Graham types appearing on the world scene. The next great personality will be antiChrist himself.

May God have mercy upon us all.

and that's just me, hollering from the choir loft.....

Pity the poor Christians...tsk tsk...born in such tough times: lifespans are increasing, polio, smallpox and many other diseases are near-history, women, gays and blacks are very nearly considered equal, there are fewer teen pregnancies and life-threatening conditions like AIDS are now treatable.

Yep. Terrible times indeed.

For wimps.

I don't think he said anything wrong, as far as Christianity and salvation goes. He never said those who reject Christ will go to heaven.

This must be one of the reasons why Fred Phelps considered Billy Graham to be a false prophet. LOL!

You can unroll your eyes because you're looking in the wrong direction.

The advent of the antiChrist will not be a vacation for anybody. That is my point here.

And in case you haven't kept up with the news lately, polio, smallpox and a host of other diseases are on the come-back - mostly because ignorant people are not taking advantage of logic and common sense and availing themselves and their children of inoculation. But all that has nothing to do with church does it?

Women, gays and blacks are NOT nearly considered equal. Islam is on the rise world wide....another news flash you may have missed. The phenomenal increase in the popularity of the Muslim religion is surprising even the prelates of that religion.

And the Qur'an does NOT teach that women and gays are equal to Muslim men. Gays are to be seized and tossed off tall buildings if one is to believe the writings of a major Immam. A woman in Islam is worth half that of a man. It's in the Qur'an if you'd read it.

Would anyone retain their culture in a country ruled by Sharia law? No. It's called dhimmitude and anyone who isn't a Muslim IS ONE. Dhimmis have to pay a head tax and are subject to all sorts of persecutions. You don't have to be a Christian either, just a non-Muslim.

According to recent statistics teen pregnancies are up - especially among blacks and hispanics. There's abortion (which some argue was instituted to thin the ethnic herd), but figures indicate its not having the desired effect. As long as the Feds keep pumping money into the pockets of young women for having illegitimate babies, there will be a booming business in teen pregnancies. In the end its all about money. It isn't pretty, but its reality.

As for AIDS being treatable, that may be so, but who in their right mind would want to risk getting the disease in the first place?

THINK, man.

As for Christians being poor, we are not. We have a limitless supply of grace from Our God and Savior Jesus Christ. The great hope for anyone so endowed is that more people could benefit from the grace of God too.

The fact that the world is turning away from such a golden opportunity is the world's loss, not ours.

and that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...

Very well stated and I do most certainly agree!

I remember shortly after this 1997 interview both Dr. Graham and the BGEA (Billy Graham Evangelistic Association) issued statements stating Dr. Graham was not promoting or suggesting pluralism.

- I once heard Billy Graham say on TV that he would like to Evangelize other Planets!
I bout fell on the floor. I always wondered what he meant by that. As he did not explain that comment.

There are even separate buildings for Baptists and Catholics, Sunnis and Sufis, Reform and Orthodox, etc.

You have to declare when you check in. There's a form to fill out.
