It's a gimmick. We're seeing a lot of gimmicks nowadays in today's Christianity. No different than a church doing a production of Star Wars on Easter Sunday.
It's a ministry. Do you have a problem with people having alternative-type churches to reach people who would otherwise never walk into one?
How much time have you spent in the 'hood, Vizio? How much time have you spent in the barrio where something like this will keep kids off the streets and, maybe, light a spark of faith?

Scripture doesn't tell us to "do church" for non-believers. The Church doesn't exist and we don't hold services in order to attract non-Christians. We need to be accepting and loving if a non-Christian comes into a service, but our primary goal on Sunday morning is not to draw in new people.

I've walked the streets of Queens, NY. In Corona I have stood and talked with people where they don't speak English. I recognize that outreaches are a wonderful thing--and we need to do it. But a church service with people beating each other up is not something we should be doing.

Or a cult.
Nope...anyone is welcome to come in. Anytime. I encourage it. We should be going out and sharing our faith with others--and then they want to come in to the church. But I'm not going to tailor the church service just to please those that are not part of the church.
Not sure how I feel about this. People don't beat each other up in Heaven. I totally get doing outreaches to groups that otherwise wouldn't step in a church but this is slightly pushing it.
