Is it possible that Jesus is referring to the salvation of a single man?
When Jesus spiritually comes to a person, the new creation is born. The old creature is passing away. The man is born again by the spirit of God. His "world" is passing away as he knows it and a new world is beginning. Because he is a new man with a new spirit and an entire new outlook.
What do you think of this interpretation.
Not a chance OP.
The ones left, are the folks that survive the carnage that will surely happen to herald the end of the age. THey are gathered at some point with the returned Christ. The ones taken are the ones that are dead who have not made the cut.
It is obvious you will discredit any view other than the official universalist version, so what's the point of talking about it.
Who said that is an official universalist version?( you really do come up with some stuff that you have nothing to back up with or any reasonable grounds to say such things). You need to understand that because someone believes there is no eternal hell does not make them a universalist. I think you will also find that most universalists especially the ones that believe the bible(not the scriptures) is inerrant( yes most of them do actually)probably believe a slight variation to what you believe. Hopefully some of them will clarify this.
