one could also phrase it this way (include the double negative)
what I am telling you now is also supported by your scriptures, so now you have a no reason to not believe what I say.
which btw, Jesus did:
Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!
Can any of you prove me guilty of sin?
If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me?

Would Jesus be considered a "Fundamentalist" or "Sola Scripture" guy?

Neither.

Correct, He is the Word of God.

Since a fundamentalist Christian is someone who holds to the basic tenets of Christian faith and teaching of Jesus, it is obvious Jesus is a fundamentalist.

That might be true if fundamentalists held to the fundamentals of what Jesus taught, but they don't. They hold to the fundamental doctrines developed in the institutional church over the centuries.

Just read the gospels. Jesus proclaims the scriptures as the authority of the faith as the "Word of God". He condemns Man adding to or taking from God's Word obeying Man's commandments instead of Gods.

There are plenty more. Jesus Christ authenticates the various prophets speaking in the Old Testament as inspired by God providing us with the "Word of God"

Luke 11:51
From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

Matthew 22:32
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

Luke 24:44
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Jesus said man shall live by the word of God. Jesus always quoted from scriptures because that is all he had, so it if were good enough for Jesus, why isnt it good enough for us.

Matthew 4:4
4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

Paul also taught from the scriptures

2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

So if you have an issue, why not go to the bible for your answers like Jesus and Paul did?
Jesus is not a fundamentalist…he is a theocratic socialist. (obeys Gods law.)

And yes, you do not need to be part of a religious group. All you need is the Bible.
