Well, separated from you lot, at any rate. And only because you decided they had to be, not because God did.
Do you even understand sin? This is elementary stuff. Sin separates us from God. If someone is living in unrepentant sin, they are separated from God until they repent of their sin and ask Jesus for forgiveness. This is the entire doctrine of Christianity. Amazing.
"You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye."
Did you miss that part? Wow, how blind are you exactly? This isn't hieroglyphics here it's plain English.
Are you serious?.Think about what Jesus is saying.
Do you not think those with the speck of dust should be removing the plank out of your eye ? In other words are you seriously thinking that you should remove the plank out of your own eye just to take the speck of dust out your brothers. It is not your brother with the speck of dust that needs help, but those with the plank in their eyes that need his help. If you think your brother with the speck of dust in his eye needs to be shown his fault, how much more those with a plank it. Jesus Christ is not telling you to remove the plank out of your eye to remove the speck of dust in your brothers. It is pathetic to think he is.

No, sin (being out of harmony with love) is a result of us believing we are separated from God (Love). To repent is to change how we think. We are transformed by the renewing of our mind to the TRUTH that the God who is love is in us and with us, and that in LOVE we live and move and have our being.
I'm done. There is nothing more I can say other than to show the words of Jesus Himself. If people reject His teachings, I have done all that I can do.
I will ask you a question what Jesus asked hypocrites. Why behold the speck of dust in your brothers eye ?

Yes it was saying exactly that. It was NOT giving you permission to do so as long as you are not doing the same thing. Christ does NOT want you doing it at all because you are NOT God and do not know what is in the heart of any man . . . only God knows. We have no ability to judge and no authorization to do so. If you think you are Jesus and have His abilities that presents another problem.
You're more willing to forgive than you believe God is? Interesting.
How much more will your Heavenly Father?. They simply do not get it. Where sin abounds grace over abounds. They cannot stomach the thought of this. When sin abounds condemnation abounds in their minds.

God bless.
No one rejects the teachings of Jesus . . . they just reject YOUR interpretations of them! You seem to have a problem understanding that. It causes you to accuse the brethren without justification. YOU are not Jesus so YOUR interpretations are NOT Gospel.
