I was looking for the old friendship thread at the top, but I don't see it. I had wanted to post a poem. I remember my mother quoting lines from this in a card she gave me as a child.

~ SOLITUDE ~

Laugh, and the world laughs with you;
Weep, and you weep alone.
For the sad old earth must borrow it's mirth,
But has trouble enough of its own.
Sing, and the hills will answer;
Sigh, it is lost on the air.
The echoes bound to a joyful sound,
But shrink from voicing care.

Rejoice, and men will seek you;
Grieve, and they turn and go.
They want full measure of all your pleasure,
But they do not need your woe.
Be glad, and your friends are many;
Be sad, and you lose them all.
There are none to decline your nectared wine,
But alone you must drink life's gall.

Feast, and your halls are crowded;
Fast, and the world goes by.
Succeed and give, and it helps you live,
But no man can help you die.
There is room in the halls of pleasure
For a long and lordly train,
But one by one we must all file on
Through the narrow aisles of pain.

- Ella Wheeler Wilcox - American Poet born in 1850 in Johnstown, Wisconsin [Died 1919]

The Bible’s answer

Some Bible translations use the word “hell†for the Hebrew word “Sheol†and the matching Greek word “Hades,†both of which refer to the common grave of mankind. (Psalm 16:10; Acts 2:27) Many people believe in a fiery hell, as shown in the religious artwork accompanying this article. However, the Bible teaches otherwise.

Those in hell are unconscious and so cannot feel pain. “There is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol.â€â€”Ecclesiastes 9:10.

Good people go to hell. The faithful men Jacob and Job expected to go there.—Genesis 37:35; Job 14:13.

Death, not torment in a fiery hell, is the penalty for sin. “He who has died has been acquitted from his sin.â€â€”Romans 6:7.

Eternal torment would violate God’s justice. (Deuteronomy 32:4) When the first man, Adam, sinned, God told him that his punishment would simply be to pass out of existence: “Dust you are and to dust you will return.†(Genesis 3:19) God would have been lying if he were actually sending Adam to a fiery hell.

God does not even contemplate eternal torment. The idea that he would punish people in hellfire is contrary to the Bible’s teaching that “God is love.â€â€”1 John 4:8; Jeremiah 7:31.

Does "Love" = no punishment? Let's find out.....

Revelation 14:10

"The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire...."

^^This is speaking directly to what Yeshua is going to do to the wicked.

Another would-be Revelation expert. Those who claim to know what Revelation is actually all about have tremendous hubris. I have studied extensively and I do not claim to know what it is all about. It is the most enigmatic book in the Bible.

but yet still the easiest to understand. which is why it's called the "Revelation" . aka Reveal.

Reveal means to "know" and "see" aka understand.

If I had a mask on and revelead my face, you'd then know who was behind the mask no?

Revelation = Reveal

If it worked like that, how did so many of those called his own not recognize the revealing of Jesus Christ?. By the way, the book of revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ and to attempt to understand it literally you never will understand it.
There is only one formula to understand God and the things of God and that is to spiritually minded.
