Does he agree with it? .. Does he speak on the scriptures about it during Sunday Service?..
Where does YOUR Pastor stand on this issue? How does he validate his stance?
An if you are a Pastor/Preacher feel free to chime in on your feelings/thoughts about this
What is there to "agree with"? Some people are born gay, some straight. Some people are left handed and some right. Some have naturally blond hair and others brown. There's nothing to agree with, they're just simple truths in the way people are born into this world.
There's nothing wrong with being gay. The fact someone is gay doesn't mean they're hurting anyone or impacting others lives anymore than someone else being straight, left handed or with bad eyesight. Live and let live.
Yet these same people point to their intellect and their inward possessing of whatever this indwelling spirit as being more accurate, more evolved, more absolute sure that they know the Creator's mind than Biblical prophets, Biblical Apostles and anything that Jesus said that doesn't fit their spirit's indwelling written words. By doing such, these people show their hypocrisy by in fact making themself god, making themself judge over what God spoke as inspired, making themself the arbitrator of absolute truth.
You refuse to listen and accept the truth about the New Covenant ushered in by Christ, Twin. You keep pretending that WE are using our own judgments as arbiters . . . but we are using Christ who abides with us as the Comforter and agape love as the arbiter. Your lack of faith that Christ abides with us as the Living Word of God and your mistrust of what the Comforter guides us to in agape love . . . is a more serious lack of faith in Christ than the things you worry about . . . like homosexuality. You DEMAND that the Comforter never guide us to anything that is NOT in the "precepts and doctrines of men" you believe in. You make the Comforter irrelevant and redundant to your Bible rejecting the New Covenant entirely. In my world that is making the Bible more important than God or Christ. That IS idolatry.

The problem with that post, Chicago, is it makes entirely too much sense and it doesn't judge anyone.
The fundies here need someone else to judge otherwise they might be forced to look in the mirror.
The trouble as i see it is we have a whole lot to say about what we assume is sin and what we do not approve of him, but awfully little to say about the righteousness of God, which by the way is not a list of things called sin we abstain from. It is the fulfilling abundant life Jesus spoke of.
I do not want to hear about what you do not approve of, i want to hear what you have discovered is righteous and how it changed your life.
It doesn't matter what the "Pastor" says if it disagrees with what GOD has said...
God didn't say that. A guy thousands of years ago speculated that God thought that (since God is both silent and invisible), and he wrote what he thought God thought.

So God would really kill people for being gay? That is what you're saying. And according to you, your pastor thinks killing people for being gay is acceptable. I sure wouldn't want to go to your church.

It didn't but take the first two sentences to affirm that it is not I who is pretending.
