Everybody believes a lot of things, not all of them are right. It is completely reasonable that if Satan exists as the Scripture says he does, that he would be able to perform the actions recorded in Genesis. Mock all you'd like, it doesn't bother me.

Expecting anything approaching reason from unreasoning credulity is definitely silly, Trout. There tends to be no real discussion or thinking . . . just parroting of dogma that is supposed to endear them to God and keep them out of Hell.
We certainly see more Christians having sex outside of marriage than we homosexuals wanting same sex marraige, yet there are hardly any threads calling out Christians living together in sin. For example, when a Christian has a child born oow, instead of addressing the sin we hear is, "well at least she didn't have an abortion." Why lash out at Non-Christians, when clearly your own house is not in order?
True and that is wrong as well. People look the other way when it comes to sexual sins today since we have so much of it going on. Sad all around really.

You've missed the point. You are convinced that you know the 'one truth' and that it is 'black and white'. Other people are convinced that they do.
You all think you are right - and others who think differently to you are wrong.
You can't all be right. Although you could all be wrong.
It's all in the interpretation. If Church A disagrees with Church B and you attend Church A.... you're right, the people in Church B are wrong (and need to be corrected) and the people sitting at home on Sunday mornings enjoying football are all going to the bad place.
