I understand. And what you write is often received as manna from heaven by me, as well.

You simply do not get it or refuse to see it....Even the thief's faith was in the love of God

You can repeat this obvious truth "and have not love" as many times as you want and it will not penetrate the fear-induced indoctrination in the "precepts and doctrines of men." They test nothing with the Spirit of agape love because they do not believe in it. They do not believe God IS agape love. They think they need to earn His love by believing the right things about Him and His Son. They believe in a vain and jealous God . . . which makes understanding God virtually impossible, pcamps.

That is what Paul means with "And without faith it is impossible to please God". It seems to be an inconvenient verse for some people, but is means what it says. Followers of Christ bring forth the fruits of the Spirit, but without faith you would not be a follower in the first place and the Spirit would not be there to deliver the fruits.

The problem is not God's love for us, it is our love for God shown in a way pleasing to God, In other words a real love of God, not a love of self.

Two many boast of their love, without showing any.

I have not read once on here anyone say that they are more loving than anyone else, there are many though boasting how wonderful the love of God is. You know this is the case too and so does Finn Jarber.

No one has said they are more loving that I am aware of. However who is showing the real love of God and what is it?

Please note; agape is a Greek word, it is what is done to show true agape love that is the question. Is it just love of neighbor and what does that include according to Jesus or what else is involved?
