Yes, you answered the question that I said that I would not ask again, but I would like to know why you believe that the Father will raise you from the dead, if you would like to share. I want to know that basis for your belief that Jesus even exists and why you believe that the Father will raise Him from the dead Thanks and God bless.
You know he does not think that you have to do ANY specific amount of work to be saved . . . because Christ did all that was necessary, Finn. Why do you persist?
He said we need to work, so I asked how much we need to work. I think it is a fair question, but he is free to decline answering it.
I am trying to understand why some of us believe the scriptures were written by barbarians or that the scriptures are only the perceptions of men, but yet they accept parts of the scriptures as truth. God bless.

Thank you for sharing, Jerwade. I appreciate your sharing this. But how can you follow in the footsteps of Jesus if you don't believe in Him?
Your ideology appears to be one of believing in him as a Sacrifice to cover our sin and death?
Mine, on the other hand - is one that exhibits his love, showing us the way to the father, overcoming sin and the fear of death.

Shana, nothing truly dies, it is merely transformed; but we will experience the state of dying which can be a fearful prospect for most.

Because we believe the scriptures were God-inspired, Shana and they are profitable (USEFUL) . . . NOT 100% inerrant and NOT the Word of God . . . only Christ is the Living Word of God. The scriptures tell us about Christ, how to identify Him, what His status is, what He would accomplish, and how to validate Him using prophesies even after His death and well into the future. All of that requires inspiration from God as interpreted by men (who by all accounts were undeniably primitive superstitious barbarians). But not ALL scripture is true as originally interpreted . . . and it is not the Word of God . . . it testifies ABOUT Him.
Why did you say that you believe that the Father will raise you from the dead? Why do you believe that Jesus existed and shows us the way to the Father, Jerwade? God bless.

It's pretty simple--lack of faith in God. We must be aware our sinful nature, such as pride. It was one of those things that led the Pharisees to crucify our Lord Jesus Christ. The prophecy of the Messiah was foretold many times in the Old Testament but hearts of the Pharisees were too hardened; and so they lacked faith.
