Kleptomaniacs are held responsible because theft is illegal. Denying a wedding cake to someone because they are gay is also illegal.

Biblical laws and U.S. law are two different things. Why that concept doesn't penetrate the brains of fundamentalists is a mystery.

That's a perfect example. Hetero sex being exhibited everywhere. Out in the open too.

  • Inhospitality
  • Seeking sex with angels, fornication, and going after "strange flesh"
  • Pride, wealth, laziness, and ignoring the needs of the poor
  • Adultery, lies, and general immorality

1. The in hospitality argument fails because it assumes that it was impossible for there to be more than one sin. But Jude 1:7 describes sexual perversion. IT is not impossible that their sin was both perversion and general in hospitality. If God was only offended by in hospitality, He would have wiped out all the cities.

2. Sex with angels argument fails because God's judgement was thrown down on Sodom before the angels even arrived. Therefore, you are left with the ridiculous argument that people were regularly having sex with angels. A position that has no scriptural basis.

US law is often based on a sense of morality. And traditionally that morality has looked at the Bible as the gold standard. Blue laws for example. The prohibition era was born out of a religious movement.

You are only using a legal argument and ignoring the basic logical comparison that I am making here.

Your really can't see the forest for the trees can you? Is that willful or genetic?

I'm waiting for the "logical" part of your comparison.

When or where did you ever hear of anyone born with their brain wired for kleptomania???

So instead of directly offering counter points, you decide to throw out a thinly veiled insult. This is known as an ad hominem fallacy where you direct your argument at the person and not my points.

Why would I not believe such a thing if I am to believe people are hard wired towards homosexuality and have NO choice in their behavior? Sexual orientation is a man made fictional word.
