I know many of you are thinking about this question as to whether it is someone suffering in physical pain. But let's consider the person is not in pain but maybe they are going blind or they have brain damage from excessive drinking or drugs and mentally they are in torment.
No one has any right whatsoever to condemn anyone for choosing to end their life.
No person does...but we're not talking about people's rights here, are we? Does God have the right to condemn someone for their actions? Indeed He is the only one who does.

You have no idea who God condemns or doesn't condemn. No one knows what God thinks about people who end their life.
There are two different definitions for euthanasia, it is either a physician-assisted suicide or a mercy killing.
And in both cases it is assisted by another party. Which, as I said, is the difference between the two.
I have explained at length why we have different words for the two. I have laid out at length the differences between the two definitions and meanings.
If you _need_ to continue to pretend they are the same thing so you can pretend your god condemns both, then I simply can not help you further. But the differences in the meaning and definitions and contexts of both words could not be clearer to those who are not trying to force language to conform to their desired biblical interpretations.

well, god gave us the tools, knowledge, and love to help each other through a messy time. remember, sometimes to get to yonder shore we have to make our way through some ruff surf. "ruff" meaning chained junk yard dog mean. in this case It comes down to intentions for god, not the action.
