It is said that a remarried person commits adultry and adulters will not enter heaven. It is also said in dueteronmy that it is an abomination to go back to your first wife once either have divorced and remarried. So all that leaves is being celibate. If one is not willing to be celibate then does God help them get prepared for hell?

My pastor JUST did a whole sermon on this. Here's the message I received: (though I hope I didn't misconstrue, wishing to hear what I wanted). Oh, and did I mention it was my ex's first time coming back to the church, and he sat with me, and we listened to this sermon about divorce and adultery. Awwwwwkkkwarrrrdd......

Anyway, I interpreted his message as this:
Jesus says divorce, remarrying and adultery are sins. Jesus died for our sins, so that we could be saved. If we are divorced or remarried, or cheated, we should pray for forgiveness and make efforts not to do it anymore. (couldn't be too hard, right?)

This is my whole argument with being gay. But again, as my pastor said, pray for forgiveness and don't do it anymore. Which in the case of being gay, that would be a tough one. So I truly feel for people who are gay and want to have a heart for the Lord.

God divorced Israel and then put her 'out of his house' and then divorced Judah and put her out of the house but will receive her again. I don't think her's gonna burn anyone for the stubbornness of their heart.

There is also 1 cor 7, but those are Pauls words and not Jesus. I wonder if we also have to consider the tone the pharisies were setting and what they were trying to get away with which may have been why Jesus replyed the way he did. The pharisies (not to be confused with the sagusies) wanted to divorce their wives for any and all reasons.

However I cant imagine that Jesus just forgot to leave out abandoment and Paul had to include it later?
