Do Not Fear... (pray, Jesus Christ, experience, God)

At this time, when we reflect on the year gone by and anticipate the coming new year, I know our struggles and trials come to mind. I know there are some that think because they've accepted Christ, their troubles are over and it's all gravy.

I'm here to remind us that no, that's not the case. Jesus himself said we would experience trials and troubles and struggles. But take heart, brethren. Our God is a wonderful God who has provided for us even in our times of need.

II Corinthians 1:3-5 (NIV) - 3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

So Happy New Year to all and remember... Jesus is here for us always, not just during Christmas, through the good and the bad.

God is good....all the time...

For our present troubles are quite small and won't last very long, yet they produce for us an immeasurable great glory that will last for forever. So we don't look at the troubles we can see right now, rather we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come, will last forever".

Amen and Amen !!! God is so good! My heart overflows with with joy and peace to night to realize what is to come! Hope this year is the best year for all on CD to live a life that is pleasing to God! Praise be to God!

So true. We here in the states are so used to having it well, we forget about the sufferring many of the earlier Christians went through when trying to share to Word. Let us pray that in the difficult times ahead, we can stand firm and continue to do God's will in the midst of any adversity.
