Jesus said the spirit of truth will speak what he hears but He also said He will take from what is His and declare it. So what he says is God's word since the son of man is the truth.

Don't we all speak what we hear in some form or another?
What Jesus was saying is that the spirit of truth will say what Jesus said therefore He will hear what Jesus said or understand what Jesus said that is how he speaks what he hears. He was simply stating He will understand what he speaks because he will have been obedient and served the Lord as Jesus taught.

John 16:13
"When the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own but will speak what he hears and declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me because He will take from what is mine and declare it to you."

If the Father sends the Holy Spirit in Jesus name and He reminds people of all the son of man said then what the spirit of truth speaks and hears is the word of God.

Jn;
"The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will instruct you in everything and remind you of all that I told you."

The problem isn't what we hear, it is how we interpret it and expect others to adhere to our version. We seem to spend too much time convincing others we are right--they are wrong and just for that manipulative icing on our theology, we tell them they are going to burn in hell if they do not accept our "truth."

Sure Holy Spirit will remind you what you hear from the Word of God ....Which means you have to go and hear the bible first , then He can remind you of scriptures ..... Then there are books which are the lost books of the bible , the best thing is to trash any of these books , as it can confuse the Holy Spirit , which can invite the spirit of the false prophet , or preach ideas which are error from Reading books which are bible looking but not tradition Books of the Bible or books from scholars which are weak in the Holy Spirit

The son of man says;

I judge as I hear and my judgment is just because I am not seeking my own will but the will of Him who sent me.

Even Jesus listens to his Father. Most don't.
