Genesis 1:1 is a preface of the Story of the Beginning of Creation.
Genesis 1:2 documents us the CONDITION OF THE DEEP (empty, null & void) BEFORE anything was created or made.
Genesis 1:3 narrates us the bringing forth of the True Light -- before the work of old.
Genesis 1:4 God divided the Light from the darkness before the start of any work of creation.
Genesis 1:5 Light Day and Night - the 1st. Day.
IOW, I believe the Scripture documents us that the actual formation of the 1st. heaven only took place on the 2nd Day (Genesis 1:6-8) and our universe were made on the 3rd day - NOT Genesis 1:1-- as others would like us believe.

I think we need to be very careful when we talk about science. Science changes all the time. What science may believe today may change tomorrow with new discoveries and information. Some things that were taught as fact a hundred years ago are not true today. As far as the Holy spirit goes,I think we need to be careful there as well. God`s word,the bible has to be the final authority. God`s word says that Eve is the mother of all creation and that sin entered the world through one man,Adam. That tells me that Adam and Eve are our original parents. The word used for sons of God in genesis is from the original word that means falling or cast down. When God tells the serpent in Genesis that he will put enimity between his seed and the woman`s seed..that word seed in the original means offspring. So, I believe that,just by using the info God has given us in the bible...nothing else,that the nyphilum are angels that left their first estates or bodies and defiled the daughters of men. They are bound in chains of darkness at the present time...see the book of Jude. I don`t see anything else in scripture that talks of another world or universe with pre-historic man or another race of beings. Again,I think we should be careful when we think we are being led or spoken to by the Holy Spirit. Satan can appear as an angel of light and that is how he deceives. We have to base what we know on God`s word and not assume things in scripture or add to the word because we think science says this or that. We have to rely solely on God`s word as our final authority.

I realize that what I post is controversial, but I also realize that it agrees not only with Scripture, but also with true Science, and History. The earth of the 1st world is gone forever. Therefore, there's no remain or fossil to be found. The 1st earth was totally destroyed - gone - dissolved - perished - no more! Want Scripture?
One cannot always measure that which is not seen. The ability to know good and evil, which is what makes us Human, MUST be inherited from Adam, the first Human who ate of tree of knowledge of good and evil. The innocent people, who were here when Noah arrived, evolved into today's Humans, when their population married the descendants of Adam. We are the result.

Here's how you can reconcile the Story of the Beginning BEFORE God created the heaven and the earth, ref. (Genesis 1:1) -- based strictly on the Scripture. Note: Insertions are mine for clarity of thoughts.
In the beginning was the Word (Light), and the Word was with God (Father), and the Word was God (Son). John 1:1
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. Proverbs 8:22
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2
The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:2
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. Proverbs 8:23
And God said, LET THERE BE LIGHT: and there was light. Genesis 1:3
Note: The first WORD spoken by God as recorded in the Scripture - and the WORD (Light) was Jesus himself - the Son of invisible God - the True Light that shineth in the beginning
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:3
When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Proverbs 8:24
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:4

As you can see, based on the above witnesses (3 Scriptures), the text is showing us how the Light (Jesus) was brought forth into this physical world -- before the earth was -- when God spoke the WORD and said LET THERE BE LIGHT (Gen. 1:3) – BEFORE anything is made that was made in the beginning.
Also, notice the above scriptural reconciliation proves that our heaven and earth, ref. Genesis 1:1 were still null and void -- not yet in existence -- on the 1st. day. As I have asserted before, the first formation of our heaven only took place on the 2nd day Genesis 1:6-8.

Yes ,I would like scripture LOL I know the earth was destroyed by water but I don`t see in scripture where it says the sun and trillions of stars were dissolved. That would have to be an awful lot of water...just to dissolve one teeny tiny star...let alone billions or even trillions! Do you know how enormously hot and gigantic a star is? Wow

Again,I would like scripture that says everything will be taken to the third heaven. I know this world will be destroyed by fire but how will the trillions of stars and sun be dissolved by fire? They are fire!

Again,I would like scripture that says Noah was brought here from another world. I thought he was floating on an ark. Why did he have to spend 120 years building a boat if God was just going to transport him to another world? I want to see that in God`s permanent ink. I`ve been searching for it in the bible but I can`t find it.

You should read my postings more closely. As I posted, there are numerous earths that were made during Genesis. Our present earth or universe is entirely different from the earth where Adam used to live. Therefore, please do not combined apples and oranges.
All the above findings you cited is from this earth NOT from the world of Adam which is gone and nowhere to be found. Incidentally, based on your own reference or article above, I am sure, it's contrary to your belief as far as the age of this earth is concerned. Now, do you want to take a stand whether you want to embrace the article or reference you cited - contrary to your religious belief - or not?
BTW, stop presenting this board your own made-up premises of my stand. IF you are that smart, then, you do not need to misrepresent other's position intentionally for fallacy of argument. When God told Noah that He would destroy the evil people WITH the earth (Gen.6:13), you bet your mama that the world of Noah was completely destroyed.
ll Peter 3:5-7 tells us of the Scoffers of the last days:
"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: (Greek-Destroyed, totally and completely). 7 "But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Notice the phrase or words used in II Peter 3:5~7 included “the Heavens … which are now”? Comon sense dictates that it should be obvious or it should be your hint -- that it was not just a global or local flood that took place and completely destroyed Noah' former world, but a Universal flood which necessitate new heavens and a new earth.
I would love to see a tape showing us that world, before it was totally and completely DISSOLVED in the waters of a Universal Flood. Do you think we will have tapes in Heaven, showing us of the present world, which will be burned? I can hardly wait to go to the 3rd Heaven. How bout you?
Psa 75:3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved:
