Converting well educated Europeans is a difficult task.
Converting uneducated peasants in South America is much easier since they fall for the charismatic style of Evangelicals and know very little about Catholicism.
Difficult task, yes. But if a Christian truly believes in God's power, difficult is simply an excuse.
I will agree. Catholicism does not work well for the poor uneducated masses in South America. These folks are best served by a much more simple charismatic evangelical system of Sola Scriptura.
Look how well it is working for the educated West. They are leaving in droves. Tired of being fleeced.
They are easy to convert because they are naive, poor, and illiterate.
Well then Christians aren't being very genuine in believing their faith. Saying people who should be converted are the stupid ones is dishonest and also is a subconscious admission that the faith isn't worth believing it because only a moron could believe in it. Why not be atheists, then?
