Sola Scriptura folks usually say they are toast.
That's because the Bible clearly tells us that no one is "NICE". Romans 3 makes that clear. If you can find a nice, sinless person...yes--they qualify for heaven, and they don't need Jesus because they'll get in on their own merits. But such a person doesn't exist.

Do see the limitations of Sola Scriptura?
First, it summarizes Jesus Christ in a few NT books. Do you honestly believe that is ALL there is to Christ?

Secondly, it places folks like you in a box and the use of reason is not an option.

Thirdly, it makes God looks like a vengeful jealous anal entity that is willing to make toast of the innocent in hell.

Think!

I don't get why you would rather believe a guy today over the guy you claim to be your first pope.

It's what the apostles wrote. We are sinners. It's what God has said about us. No pope today can overrule what God has already said through his apostles.

Actually, it makes him incredibly loving and merciful that he's willing to save those that are at war with him.

Let me ask you again.

Do you think a Muslim can be saved?

Of course. If he embraces Christ and becomes a Christian. Jesus said he is the ONLY way.

But, he may never hear the gospel. He may be indoctrinated about Islam 24/7. Do you think God will throw him away and make him burn forever?

You have added a word into the context. Many people do it.

Please review the passage.

May God bless you.

To be fair, it's not just the Calvinists who believe that stuff, most conservative Protestants have the same view of non-Christians.
