Still, the Christian religion is heavily fragmented and continues to fragment, often over relatively trivial issues. Which is exactly what one would expect if Christianity is a human invention. If Christianity is really the One True Faith, and God is ultimately the head of the church, why can't God seem to hold it all together?

What is God's opinion of alcohol use, according to the bible?
I know it says several times that it condemns drinking in excess and drunkenness, but what about moderation?
I'm a very new Christian, only baptized two days ago, and this is something I'm struggling with. My partner is completely biased against it, and says that it is what the Bible says, but all of my own personal research (which is very limited in comparison to his knowledge of the book) says only drunkenness is bad. In my opinion, there is a big difference in having a drink and getting drunk.

Wine is really juice just man adding alcohol in it.
You can buy wine without alcohol or just buy juice as we know it to drink wine.
Examples would be St. Julian wine or just apple juice.
