Well, this is a Christian forum. We believe "all have sinned", as Scripture teaches.

No. I did not miss the point. You used alcohol as your example. It is a disease, not a bad habit. It is not sin.

For example;

Type2 Diabetes can be controlled with nutrition and/or medication. If someone's diabetes is not under control it does not make the person a sinner. It makes them a Diabetic with blood sugar issues.

Bad habits are not difficult to over come. Disease is difficult to over come. Bad habits are not sins.

I did 65mph in a 60mph zone today,is this considered a sin? and if i dont confess will that be enough to relegate me to living an eternity in hell?
Oh yeah and i had a beer with my lunch today =Eternal damnation?

No. Not everyone is a sinner. I would find it helpful if you defined sin.
