SAAN I don't think you're going to find many people willing to defend mega-churches exploiting Christianity to get filthy rich. I think true Christianity doesn't have a paid ministry. The reason there is such a thing as a paid clergy to begin with is laziness on the part of many Christians. They seem to think they need somebody else to talk to God for them, read the scriptures for them, etc.
So my answer to your question is that mega-church pastors shouldn't accept payment for their services. They should go get a job outside of religion. If they succeed at some other endeavor sufficient to buy their own private jet, good for them.
No. He's a money-grubbing televangelist. He preaches a false Gospel telling people to obey and be blessed. One could say his career path was set at birth...if that's his real name.
I've wondered on occasion, is that his REAL name? CREFLO DOLLAR ? It sounds like a stage name, not something real, but who knows. I don't know why the masses listen to radio and T.V. preachers - they're just gullible, I suppose. Seems like everyone would have figured out by now that they are showmen making money preaching a false gospel.
