First of all, the name "Yeshua" does not appear in the New Testament. Having said that, neither a guy named Yeshua, nor Jesus said we were still under the Law.
Now, I assume you're referring to Matthew 5:18 stating that the Law will not pass away until everything is accomplished? You do realize that Jesus accomplished it, right? Romans 10:4 states that Jesus is the end of the Law for righteousness for those that believe. So....if you want to live as an ancient Israelite? Knock yourself out. If so, Jesus, or Yeshua, or whatever you want to call him is of no use to you. You can be like the foolish Galatians if you choose.
Galatians 5:2 "Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you. 3I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law. 4You are severed from Christ, you who would be justifieda by the law; you have fallen away from grace. 5For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love."
the only reason pork was banned was because pork goes off quicker than any other meat in a hot country, and they never had fridges and freezers.
And then, there's the fact that they eat some pretty horrible stuff. And they're filthy animals. I can't say that it's why God forbade them, but imagine trying to raise enough pork for 1 million + people. The waste that they leave behind would not be pleasant.
