So are you on this thread to publicly DENOUNCE gay bashing businesses or to defend them? Or are you mired in some middle ground--which fundamentalists reject outright.
Envious? Not at all... It makes me sick that people spend their money on the things of the flesh, when they should be serving God. Before I was born again, i was all about the flesh; nice houses, lifted trucks, 'toys', flying to and fro for vacations, twice a day to Starbucks for a $3.95 'Caramel macchiato', spending a hundred bucks a week eating at restaurants... Just to name a few. I gave up my old life for a new and better life in Christ. Jesus removed all of that stuff from my heart, and caused me to see life from the perspective of the gospel. American Christians are lukewarm and don't even know it... Most don't follow Him, they follow the world-while 'claiming to know Him':

Luk 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
If He has 'taught you', you will do what He said it...

It was for those who call themselves 'Christians' to use all of their resources for the Kingdom of God, instead of for the things of the world. If you belong to the Kingdom of God, you will use what you have for that purpose. And that should also answer the question you asked me... (If it doesn't make sense initially, then just think about it for awhile

Most Christians believe Christ is the end all and be all of belief about God. What do you call someone who believes the Bible is the end all and be all of belief about God?

Very well. Why are you even posting on a thread where the OP has a stated purpose regarding DISCRIMINATION?
No one asked what you or I think about the Bible. Are you stating it's okay according to the Bible for Christians to discriminate? And if not, why are you putting a straw man into the debate?

Apparently, like everyone else, he was a tool of corporate America and made money. Then he went to the computer store and bought the one he liked best. (He's not using the free computer at the library. I asked.) After deciding not to follow the recommendation of Jesus to sell his computer and give the money to the poor.....he kept it.
A plan* that allows him to use his computer, access the internet and still lecture everyone on the evils of multinational corporations and (cherry on top for every card-carrying fundamentalist) what he believes are the sins of the LGBT community. Meanwhile, everyone else is supposed to use their business to promote religion. Which is a good way to go out of business quick if your customers get tired if being preached at while they're trying to buy shoes.
(*This, BTW, is commonly known as "Do as I say, not as I do." The fundamentalists just like to fancy it up.)
