- Wouldn't it be better for God's people if they got out of the Image Making Business
of providing Images of people on cakes. Or Picture Images of them as well.
- Maybe God understood about such dissensions of judgments that would evolve with the world.
As the Peace, that equality can not bring among God's people;
is always produced for them in recognition of His word.

well, the (religious) "image making business" seems to be an old one apparently commanded by the Lord specifically in some cases. for example, He instructed Moses to make a brazen serpent that the Israelites who were bitten by poisonous snakes in the desert could gaze up on and be saved (Numbers 21:9) and that the "mercy seat" of God associated with the ark of the covenant would be adorned with the golden images of cherubim (Exodus 25: 17-22).
moreover, the temple of Solomon (the famous "wise guy", LOL) had a "sea of brass" (reservoir for ceremonial washing) that was supported by the metal statues of 12 oxen (1 Kings 7 and 2 Chronicles 4). FWIW, the pillars of that temple were also seemingly decorated with the images of pomegranates and lilies.
if the temple of the Most High and the ark of the covenant could include these kind of images then IMHO seems that the "prohibition of religious images" was not quite what many might consider it to be??? perhaps instead images were rejected when they were used as the idols of the neighboring pagan people---as symbols of the forbidden worship of false gods ("thou shalt not have false gods before Me") and a confusion between the false worship of something created by human hands rather than the true worship of the Creator of all things.

Maybe he doesn't like seeing a bride and groom (or a groom and a groom or a bride and a bride) on top of a cake and is a white-icing-only kind of a guy.
