Worry.

I first noticed it in most everybody, including my Christians buddies in 2006....
when I stopped worrying.

These are some qualities of worry:
-Useless
-Waste of time
-Establishes fear, doubt, anxiety
-Is a slap in the Face of God, it dishonor's our Lord

So, why you never have to worry again
:
-Because God's 'got your back'...totally and completely.
-And because Jesus said not to....
-Because Paul said be anxious for nothing.
-Because worry is a burden...and Jesus said give all burdens to him.

How do you start to change your brain's habit?
Just (1) notice when your thoughts turn to worry...catch one the moment you notice and
(2) smile ....because you caught your mind's tricks...
then, (3) talk to God within you listening...
tell Him you are not going to fall for this trick because you know He is making your way straight;
you trust Him completely.
(4) Then, practice this until worry is a memory. Voila

Live your life free of worry...watch doubt or stress or nervousness or jealousy or competitiveness
or pride....just disappear from your life...as God wants them to...
And as Jesus directed.

Do this like a homework lesson for 2 solid weeks...watch your pattern of worry disappear as
a new pattern of trusting and talking to God more often takes it's place.

So, in other words, if a person desires to be the best
he can be...loving others, loving God...how is that possible if there is stress,
worry, anxiety and fear...there isn't.
So, when doing these, we are not doing the very thing we want to do and
what was asked of us.

To do what was asked of us...there must be forgiveness and trust in God in all things.
It is a simple and basic equation...it is not followed,
perhaps because it is so simple?

But, again, I say...do it for 2 weeks...practice "Do not worry...."

Worrying is like praying for something you don't want.

It's true, trusting Him actually promotes right living, which exceeds the righteousness of the "Pharisees" who try in their own strength to be righteous.

Worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair; it'll give you something to do, but you won't get anywhere.
