This is the entire problem. Men wrote the Bible - you agree - but then you said the words were from God. Who decided that? Men! Oh oh! Which men? The Roman Christians under Constantine (who threatened Christianity with extinction if they did not come up with ONE version).
But people still insist the the military-religious complex of Constantinian Christianity was God-inspired, despite the fact that Constantine heard Jesus tell him to kill people in Jesus' name (by this sign, conquer).

1) I do not attack the Bible - I study it and report findings
2) I seek the truth and do not read and English translation and think I know better than someone who studies, like some people here

Don`t get frustrated. Just because you believe something to be the truth doesn`t make it the truth. It`s your truth. There are plenty of people with more degrees than you,been studying longer than you,who would disagree with your version of the truth. Truth isn`t necessarily found in a science textbook.

Problem is, the VAST majority of Christians do not even know how their Bible has come down to them and then there are others who have the resources to find out but not interested in any facts screwing around with their pipe dreams.
It is truly a fascinating study though. Clears up so many questions and sheds light on certain things.
