People in hell were never described as that many.

So why was it God was going to establish a New Covenant?

Now, how many Christians troll the atheist board? How many are over there telling the atheist how blind they are for not following Christ. My guess, not very many.

Why?

They come here because of doubt. We Christians don't need to go over there because we don't have doubt about our convictions. We know and believe what is true. But because they are so unsure, they come here.

I visit that forum when the mood strikes. They had a rather interesting discussion on what we want done with our bodies after we die. I shared that I hoped, when my time comes, to become tree fertilizer.

They don't argue much at all. The atheists, which include some of CD's most intelligent posters, can talk about things besides homosexuality. It's quite refreshing.

That's not the point...The New covenant is to be with Israel and Judah, not with the Gentiles...

It's not YOUR point. but it is a very cogent point for those who wish to hang onto the Mosaic Covenant.

wrongful conclusion ... since "Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, 'So shall your offspring be.'

The New Covenant in the NT is for all believers in Jesus as the promised Messiah. Those who reject Jesus are not descendants of Abraham via faith but are rather illegitimate of Hagar.
