No i never said that, i said you would not believe it to be sin if there wasn't a law saying it was a sin. The law makes you aware of sin, grace and truth makes you aware of righteousness. One brings condemnation.... the other justification. I have no doubt in my mind even though i do not know you that you struggle with condemnation, for placing yourself under the law brings that, even if you kept 90% of it.

You are missing the point...... without the law you would not believe it is a sin anymore than you would believe driving 70 mph when there is no speed limit imposed. Paul got it perfectly right when he said that which i don't want to do i do.... try stop sinning....... i will give you from this moment til you go to bed tonight. If there is a law in place saying thou shall not, your focus will be on not doing what it saying not too........ you will fail for sure and be frustrated and bring yourself under self condemnation.... unless of cause you have the spirit of the pharisee and justify yourself and brush your sin under the carpet.
Why would God even give a law that is impossible to keep, only to turn around and punish those who dont keep it perfectly with death?
The commands of God are a guideline on how o live your life. If the law serves no purpose, we wouldnt need Jesus, because no law= no sin, so what would you repent to Jesus for sinning if there is no law.
You are only under the curse of the law if you are breaking it and reject the blood of Jesus for you sins.

Mind your own business and make sure YOU do not engage in sexual immorality. Pray for him/her.
