I just speak facts, no anti-Semitism. Every mortal that has read the bible, knows for sure--the leaders of the jewish religion--rejected Gods son. They rejected the new covenant with that rejection of Jesus--God did his part, it is they who fail, to this day, it will not change. Spiritual Israel is Gods chosen--The #1 requirement is they serve-YHVH( Jehovah) as the only true God and the #2 requirement is they must accept Jesus as the Messiah--the door remains open to them.
Nope, nope and noperu....

Good point ^ above ^ because Scripture teaches: resurrection.

While on earth Jesus did Not reincarnate anyone but resurrected them back to healthy physical life on earth.
Jesus' earthly resurrections were a small preview, or coming attraction, of what Jesus will be doing globally during his millennium-long day of governing over earth.

King David - Acts 2:34 - and John the Baptizer - Matthew 11:11 - will be among those who will also have a healthy physical resurrection on earth because everyone who died before Jesus died can have a physical resurrection back to life on earth during Jesus' coming 1,000 year governmental rulership over earth. Some can be ' princes ' on earth.
- Psalm 45:16; Ezekiel 34:24; Isaiah 32:1

Only some are called to heaven - Revelation 20:6; 5:9-10, but the majority of mankind will come back to life on earth.
That is why Acts 24:15 uses the ' future tense' that there ' is going to be ' a resurrection.......
A healthy physical resurrection with people having perfectly sound hearts, minds and physical bodies.- Rev. 22:2

If we are part of the humble ' sheep'-like ones of Matthew 25:31-32, then we can be alive on earth to welcome back those faithful people of the old Hebrew Scriptures in fulfillment to God's promise to Abraham - Hebrews 11:13,39 - that ALL families of earth will be blessed, and ALL nations of earth will be blessed. Blessed with healing right here on earth.
- Genesis 12:3; 22:18; Rev. 22:2

Yup, yup, yupper - the door does still remain open to fleshly Jews.
The door has been open since Pentecost - Acts chapter 2
The Jewish community was culpable in blood guilt because they failed to bring Jesus to justice - Deut. 21 vs 1-9
After Peter concludes what he says at Acts 2 vs 12-15, in verse 19 Peter says to those Jews to ' repent '.
MANY of them did repent - Acts 2:41; Acts 4:4; Acts 6:7; Acts 8:12
So, fleshly Jews can become spiritual Jews ( Christians ) - Romans 2:28-29
and become part of God's spiritual nation - 1st Peter 2:9,5 - a nation without boundaries and Not found on any map.
By the grace of God natural Israel today exists as a national group, and like everyone else individuals can become part of God's spiritual nation by becoming a follower of Christ Jesus.

It was a coming attraction, or a preview - Matthew 16:27-28; Matthew 25:31-32 - of Jesus' future glory time.
The glory time, is the soon coming ' time of separation ' on earth between the sheep and the goats.

The windstorm carried Elijah from one place on earth to another place on earth. - 2nd Chronicles 21 vs 12-15.
So, Elijah did Not die, but was still alive on earth and active as God's prophet 5 years later after the windstorm re-located him on earth.

Like with Moses, God simply disposed of Enoch's body - Hebrews 11:5; Deut. 34 vs 5-6; Jude verse 9
So, like all those of John 3:13 the people who died before Jesus died are still asleep in their graves ( temporary biblical hell )
until the thousand-year day when Jesus' millennial rulership will govern over earth.
That is why Acts 24:15 uses the ' future tense ' that there ' is going to be ' a resurrection.....
A resurrection "in the future" is true but this resurrection in the future happens to all persons when they die and not at some distant date still in the future for all who have already died since the resurrection of Christ.

When a person dies the spirit that was the source of life within them, as well as the soul that is the persona of the person, both as one "celestial aka spiritual body" depart the terrestrial aka earthly physical body they abided and matured in from the time of their conception, and return to God from whom the spirit in man came from when God breathed into the nostrils of Adam. As far as the physical body is concerned it has served it "clay jar" purpose on earth for the spirit and soul assigned to it, therefore it returns to the dust it came from.

This is the resurrection of the just and the unjust that is a resurrection all persons go through immediately after they die that is only a short time before they will "stand in judgment" for better or for worse with the final disposition up to God

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

This is the same as what marked the death of Jesus when He "gave up the ghost" which left a dead body on the Cross because the spirit and soul that is always the "real life" in a person, was no longer in the Body of Jesus

Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

James agrees that when the spirit is gone from the body the person is no longer alive

James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Paul (aka the author of Hebrews for those who do not credit it to Paul) understood that when a person died the next thing they would experience would be the resurrection of the just and the unjust unto God for judgment

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

In Re.20 this judgement is called to be 1000 years after the righteous have been resurrected but is said so under the authority in the following verse

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Most Christians get tripped up here because they were not taught how God teaches man to find out Godly wisdom acceptable to Him for the edification of His children, and not because they are not trying to do the best they can do to find out the truth of a subject that very few have ever "lived to tell it" by after they have dies returning to this life as we know it

However, and for an allegory as a teaching aid, please consider how "now is the day of salvation" just as it was yesterday and for almost two millennia of yesterdays that were all a "day of salvation" albeit they were all separate days. Consequently, every one of these multiple "day of salvation" for anyone who died died since the time of Christ was immediately changed into their "day of judgment" even though for everyone else still alive it was still the "day of salvation". Consequently the two judgments were not separated by a time span of 1000 years but the difference between the dispensations from God of grace or judgment towards an individual

In this event whether they were unjust, or had their names written in the Book of Life did not affect their attendance at it albeit it did their final disposition that was up to God alone because it was to late for anything or anybody to alter whether their name appeared in the Book of Life or not

When all the righteous were resurrected "on that day" 1000 years earlier was when that day for them had become their personal "day of salvation" having passed from death unto life through believing in Jesus Christ

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

God calls things as though they are even when they are NOT YET, and this includes both the good such as those who are called to be righteous only because of their imputed righteousness, and not because they are already righteous as well as those who because of sin are "condemned already". This same 'call them for what they are not yet' also applies to those who through being born into sin and death are spoken of uterus times in the NT as if they were already dead.

Consequently this earlier resurrection is only for the righteous because of the righteousness of Christ only to the extent of what will not be finalized about them until their physical life as we know it to be comes to an end.
