Yahweh, YWHW, Jehovah, Om, Aum....are all honest attempts to put what can not be spoken in a Word.
It's like trying to imitate the sound of a wave crashing on the beach...it can not be done...
Yet, if one tried they could say," Ahhh-roooosh"...."Wooooo-shaaaaaa". See?

In the East they have done the same thing as with, "Yahhhh----wehhh"...accept they go
"Soooo-hummm". Other groups will say, ''Hummm-ssoooo""....and "Sungho and Hosung"
All cute attempts for what can not be spoken with a mouth and vocal chords.

It is the subtlest of the subtle. It can be experience when you sit in stillness...a stillness almost
hard to imagine.
More subtle than the clock that has been ticking all day, but you never heard.
oh so good...^^^

yep ! spot on
It is STILL one of the main signs someone is unsaved. Especially when they define themselves BY THAT SIN, you pretty much should believe they really are a SINNER and not a SAINT. They call people secular names which usually, if they look in the mirror, you'll find they are what they despise.

They really don't understand the new covenant vs the old covenant, and are still stuck in their besetting sins, obsessing about them, wanting to be defined by them possibly instead of being defined by their eternal identity in Christ. Basically self focused because they are their own GOD which is what attracted Eve to the fruit. Satan told her she will be like GOD if she ate it.

Sins get perpetuated and even announced to strangers, acquaintances when it is really enslaving them

They don't want to let their sins die....to be born again... as a new creation. I still remember that about myself once.

It's a very difficult way of life.

Saints understand sin is temporary, a temporary condition which when compared to eternity, is a milla-second

Sin doesn't define a Saint, aka Christian, as they are instructed to walk in a manner worthy of their calling and to increase their knowledge of the Almighty God, a.k.a study His God Breathed Word which is sharper than a 2 edged sword and is complete for all training in righteousness.

Colossians 1:10 English Standard Version (ESV) So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

I don't understand the question. Can you re-phrase it?

Why can you not see that you are not the victim?

As for the Muslim community -- America is not a Muslim nation and we have now banned people from many (not all Muslim countries) from traveling to the U.S. How can this be considered Constitutional? Yet the Supreme Court says it is okay for Trump to have a list of countries whose people are banned, but not on that list is Saudi Arabia who had 19 high-jackers who participated in the 9/11 attack in 2001. Our country has gone mad. How can we be great friends/allies with Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E., and Russia, but are now treating Canada, Europe, Mexico, and South America like our enemies? The current moron in the Oval Office is guilty of treason. He does not represent me. He is a Nazi and a traitor. He will bring us to ruin, so you should prepare yourself for really bad times.

Your homophobia is unnecessary. God does not require you to treat gay people like animals. You are not to judge by the outer appearance. You do not know anyone's heart.

Bless you Rain, and thank you.

Jesus promised the Comforter (Holy Spirit) sent in His name to guide us to the Truth God has "written in our hearts." The Holy Spirit is described in detail in 1st Cor 13, the Sermon on the Mount, and Galatians 5.

1. I believe there is only one God.

2. The Holy Spirit.

3. His voice.

Slavery is man made but there's a thread through scripture that describes the same type of slave that we become when we purchase on credit. We will be slaves until the debt is paid. And the master is to be just - which is why contracts are written. To keep things fair, as agreed upon.
Then there's the jubilee year. Oh if only...
The Egyptians enslaving the Israelites isn't the same type but God allowed it for a time.

I just read a devotion this morning about evidence demanding a verdict. Made me think of this thread.
