So what? I don't care if a murderer found God and changed his ways.. He is still a murderer... Why Christian fundamentalists would rather spend eternity with that guy, than someone like myself, who is a good person who simply doesn't believe in that particular God (and has never murdered anyone, or even harmed anyone physically on purpose), is very telling. They do not care about people, unless they are of their faith, and meet their standards.

My view is higher than any god that is postulated here so far. I have never condoned slavery, I have never taught how to beat a slave, my son has never advised how to beat a slave, I don't call for genocides, I would never allow a rape victim to have to marry the rapist, and I would never allow women to be viewed as less than men.

Well, he would have to accept our actions BF. How else would he judge any human? So by your logic, being a good person simply isn't good enough for your God, you also have to worship him and tell him how great he is?
