2 Timothy 3:1-5 "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. most people who are living in sin simply do not care to hear anything that runs counter to their way of life and when the truth of God is presented to them, they merely twist or marginalize Scripture in order to justify the ungodly life they are living. in the end though, it will come back upon them for rejecting the His Word. everything that God has created is a testimony unto Him and the heavens and the earth and our very human creation testify of His majesty and His goodness and grace which He extends to all who will receive it. the next verses Paul writes tell of such people from Romans 1:
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

i have learned over the years not to debate too much with people who simply refuse to listen to God's Truth. this verse from Acts 28:27 sums it up well: "For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.”
people can twist Scripture, marginalize it, turn it upside down and sideways and rewrite it all they want in order to remove any context of sin in order to justify their sinful, perverted ways, but the Word of God remains the same through it all. for those who reject God and the precious gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, you have been presented with the Gospel here and i'm sure elsewhere and because of your rejection and denial, you WILL stand before God one day to give an account of your life. at that moment, unless you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and lived according to His Word and precepts, you WILL face eternal separation from God, forever tormented by your refusal to hear and to follow the Lord. i pray that those of you who revile and mock God and His children today will have a change of heart soon. the responsibility is soley upon your shoulders. you have been duly warned. (on that note, i'm done here)
What exactly would be the reason for God's condemnation??? Do you have any idea? How does any carnal activity affect our Spirituality or love of one another? Doesn't our state of mind determine our spiritual state, NOT what our physical bodies are doing???

God doesn't approve of lust. The sexual relationship of someone of the same sex is lust - not love. LOVE is sourced in God. To say that God's love is correlated to sexual lust is a lie and blasphemous.

That is why 1st Corinthians 6:11 uses the ' past tense ' that is what some of you 'were'.
