Finn, it is not the fact of disagreement over the issues that leads to accusations of bigotry, it is the fact that one view negatively impacts innocent people. People get hurt.
It is about difference of views. I know I never hurt anyone, but I am accused of hatred all the time, and it is only because of my biblical views. My views are not tolerated. What do you call that? Ah, yes, the word is intolerance.
Have you noticed your pro-gay views are tolerated, while you do not to tolerate biblical views? That should tell you something.
Personally the insults do nothing to me except offer a window into the souls of the people who sling them, but some people are hurt by insults and false accusations, so you might keep that in mind since you claim to be concerned about hurting people.

Finn, poeople hgave been hurt for hundreds of years based on the attitudes YOU espouse, whether you personally have hurt anyone or not, so your views are not tolerated because they HURT PEOPLE.
My views are tolerated and the opposing view is basesd on misinterpretation of Bible let alone violation of the Spirit Christ gave to guide us.

Sure. I never argued it is limited to pets, friends and family. I said it is possible to love people and disagree at the same time. Is it loving to lie about your views? Should people pretend they agree about everything (when they don't) in order to appease? That's not love, that's just being dishonest.
Is it loving to accuse someone one hatred and bigotry because they disagreed with you? No, it is not.
