Just saw the Pope at the 9-11 memorial. The Pope hugging the Iman was encouraging!

There were representatives from all world religions. Was there an Evangelical in the interfaith meeting?

Just curious!

They knew better than to show up and try and proselytize the Pope while chanting hate and bigoted phrases supporting discrimination and oppression of the marginalized..

Most evangelicals I have heard on the Cspan call in show seem to deeply admire the Pope. There were a couple of haters, but most were very positive.

I think Obama should have invited a prominent Evangelical to the White House the day the pope visited.

Why would a Christian pastor want to embrace an Imam at an interfatih prayer service? Why would the Pope want to do so? We don't all pray to the same God. Do you think God wanted Joshua and the Israelites praying to Dagon, the Philistine god?

Not sure if it was the White House or not, but I understand that Rick Warren and TD Jakes did spend time with the pope at an event.

Yeah, and "death to Israel and the US!" is so enchanting.

You sound like an intolerant fundamentalist--------my way or the highway. So you would never embrace a Muslim? Interesting pseudo Christian philosophy.

If Muslims and Christians were less fundamentalist the world would be a much better place.

Yeah, Israel should just be more " tolerant". The US should just forget about 9/11.
