It's persecution if he intentionally shot a Christian in the head and an atheist in the leg. That's the report I heard. I'm sorry if you disagree that there is no difference between wounding and killing.
Oh, that's the report you heard? So, one? Because I've been following this story very closely and the "Christians were targeted" story is falling apart. You folks just don't want to accept it because it would mean that you aren't actually being martyred for your "faith." He was someone who was intent on killing as many people as possible so he would be remembered, he wanted the limelight. Christians were no more special to him than anyone else.
He shot his teacher in the head. His teacher was Jewish. Was he targeting Jews too?
And silly the rest of us...we're offended at people killing people.

This. He was a murderer who shot as many people as possible. It didn't matter to him if they were a Jew or a Christian. His intent was to kill people. Sadly, he did just that.
