By portion Jesus anointed the disciples with the Holy Spirit when they were sent out.
One does not possess the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God as a companion , a teacher in God's will and continues the teaching Jesus did with the disciples.
The regular influence of the Holy Spirit in ones life is recognizable by the angels of God and give preference to those that choose to obey God.
One cannot bear fruit of a relationship, with out a relationship John14;15; and the Holy Spirit is the link in that relationship.
Jesus said, Blessed are that that do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled". This is not a casual hobby this is a desperate pursuit, like there is a fire fallowing behind you. Desperation like the plane you were in going across the pacific crashed and your floating with a seat cushion and the sharks are circling you.
You have come to the conclusion other options are no options at all, and God's will is the only option available you need/want.
Because as long as you hold on to man's teaching and approval your not listening to God at all.
God's ways are above man's ways.
Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead with a word , and walked on water and calmed the storm with only a word .
An still does so today. in those whom obey "Him".
Repentance must come first.
Sin is the absence of obedience, proven from the time of Adam till now.
One can not obey with out knowing God's voice , thus one can only sin, with out God's own instruction.
Knowing the scriptures alone is not sufficient .
Men abused the scriptures and with it fellow man, rather then seeking to obey God.
Jesus provided the Holy Spirit so one can obey God personally, taking men out of the equation.
Priests and rabbi and other titles of authority men use, Jesus forbade the disciples.
Their job was to make disciples to Jesus not them selves.
Paul failed at this being a Pharisee.
If your picking at words ,your looking for excuses, not God's will.
People (Gentiles)were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, long before Paul came on the scene under Peter's ministry.
Personally I'd much rather be under Jesus ministry than Paul's.
Love out side obedience, is still self governed sin.
One obeys God through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and "that" is the demonstration of love for Him, and He then can instruct one how best to love his neighbor.
God know those that love Him, and those that want to love Him, and makes every opportunity for that person to discover Jesus Christ, and the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
Beware of those that mimic for the sake of the acceptance of men or one another.
God is not fooled by mimicry .

1). So, if the HS is or rather will "teach" us God's will, then the bible becomes useless as we now have a direct link to God's will..
2). God is now a RESPECTER of persons and has favorites...

Years ago when i endured going to church, it used to bore the ass of me hearing folk who had no idea about anything concerning the Spirit trying to explain the Spirit. We would have a visiting preachers and this was one of their favorite topics..... it was depressing.
Jesus said his word is Spirit and Life........ When our words are baptized in all the essence of God then not only are we learning to be spiritually minded but from within rivers of living water begin to flow. It is words that heals and sets us free.... silver and Gold have i not but what i do have i give you.
Jesus gave stern warnings to churches in Revelations the first 7 chapters . May be you should spend time learning all the things Jesus said ,and leave the things men teach aside.
Jesus was /is discriminatory, through out the gospels and the old testament as well in God's dealing with man. God does not compromise with sin .
So what is God doing with it?...... i don't believe God is in the compromise business, the being appeased business, blowing smoke up your ass business, the you better or else business......... i guess that leaves the unconditional love forgiveness that changes lives business and brings man back to where he belongs........ at peace with God.
