Right, and it's equally inexcusable. Christ did not teach us to hate one another. He taught us to love the sinner and hate the sin.

Yawn. Satan is really scraping the bottom of the barrel now. I guess he wasted most of his ammo in Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri.

If they do protest, what kind of message does it send other than bring shame upon the name of Christ? The Westbro Church doesn't speak for all Christians, just as the FDLS doesn't speak for all Mormons.

Those who morn for Hinckley should not have to deal with that distraction.

Agreed. Incidentally, I believe that FLDS are excommunicated Mormons. I'm pretty sure I'm correct about that.

I wonder if the greater Baptist faith or some other greater power within Christianity can do something similar. It would be appropriate.

Regardless of our disagreements in theology, I think we can all say that not everyone who says “Lord, Lord” will be recognized by Him.

I would cut a very wide path around these people at Westboro. Let's pray that others don't get sucked into their establishment.

What if everyone took shifts protesting them? You could pretty much cover every day of the week indefinitely. Have different major Christian organizations do it in shifts. It would be a lot more useful if it was done by the Baptist Churches.

Just a goofy thought.
