This is not a Jewish forum and the Mashiach is no more appropriate here than the Talmud or the Koran is......... Get it?
You're going by the links and he's going by the original languages they were written in centuries ago. Thus your telling him you would rather follow the translation errors made by Christian scribes through the centuries than go back to the first few languages that they were written in. It doesn't matter which forum one is in if one is closed minded to seeking the truth of what was translated. You don't want to go back to Hebrew or Aramaic, then fine that's your choice. Than as a Christian you should at least go back to Greek. Greek has some errors in translations, but it's infinitesimally compared to the current English version.

Okay if you can tell me what Jew was witness to the events in the garden and wrote about them I will concede
this is a Christian forum and if you want to use scripture to support any idea of yours you need to do so from a Christian translation
translations that are not used by Christians have no right being posted in a Christian forum as something that trumps (or for comparison) whatever Christian Bible translation is being quoted here
Until then please respect the fact you are posting in a Christian forum, and post whatever Christian Bible translation you are quoting from.
i agree with you 100%
arguing with Christians and quoting Jewish scripture in the Christianity forum is entirely inappropriate and disrespectful

Christians claim Jesus as Messiah...They reference the COT and say that he fulfilled the prophecies in the COT, the COT was allegedly translated from the Hebrew Bible (TaNaKh)...Now, if Christians claim that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah, the one we Jews have been waiting for...So, basically, the Jews and the Christians have the same Messiah as per the TNK and COT...However, the Messiah described in the TNk is very different from the Messiah described in the COT...How can that be if they are the same Messiah?...
So, when you state that such and such a verse says XYZ in English and it does not line up with the TNk, I AM going to correct you, because you bring the Jewish people into it in an erroneous way...
24 And He drove the man out, and He stationed from the east of the Garden of Eden the cherubim and the blade of the revolving sword, to guard the way to the Tree of Life.
Actually he is sort of correct as the Hebrew word la'at in the tanakh means glow and can be expanded to mean flame as in this case it's a noun.

Then why does the TNK translate it as revolving?...
