You claimed to have experienced God while sitting on a log in the Rocky Mountains. I'd bet hundreds of thousands of people who don't read the Bible have found Him the same way.

John Muir found God in Yosemite. HIS path took him through the meadows and up into the mountains. Put down your Bible (take a deep breath..... it will be there when you get back).... read John Muir... and get back to us with your claim there is only one path to God

If something needs to be paid for, it’s not forgiven.

Anyone can feel the presence of God in nature. He exists in everything. But no one or nothing can bridge the gap between a broken, sinful man or woman, but Jesus. Christianity is the only religion where God reaches out to mankind.

Pick up your Bible. It's all in there.

The connection comes, when we reach out to others.

If all you're looking for is words, yeah, you'll find plenty.

Amen, Jer! There is no thought behind the dogma, just rote acceptance and parroting of the "precepts and doctrines of men." Rep IOU.

It WAS paid for. It doesn't need to be paid for.

I don't believe that for a second.

Lucky me. NOT a fundamentalist. Not trapped in the "Us" vs "Them" mentality. Not a victim of the doctrines of men. Able to see the many paths to God. Woo-hoo!!

Thank you, Jimmie. You just reminded me of how blessed I am!
