peculiar worship behavior
rude and invasive social interactions
protesting and even preventing the equal rights of certain people groups
the marginalization of minorities
the public shaming and condemnation of particular sins and sinners
or for saying absolutely ridiculously stupid things, etcetera, etcetera… !
They may be, but i find it better to walk in forgiveness towards towards such things rather than be disturbed by them and react by fighting it. There is power in forgiveness that we haven't discovered yet, that will achieve more in an twinkling of an eye than a life time of protesting could ever achieve.
I perused CARM yesterday. There is no love at that sight. Not one drop. I see money making schemes, and a person who has a need for control and lots of it. I see narcissism, and arrogance. I do not see Christianity.
There are several regulars on this forum who are Straight Outta Carmton.
I would not have known it existed but for the links they had posted. Which are a free trip down the rabbit hole into the cult of the aptly-named Slick.

So we were wrong to FIGHT against bigotry?
Yes you are, walk in forgiveness and let forgiveness do the work. Unless of cause you are unforgiving towards the ways of the world that you are not approving off. Make all the noise you want, i am not moved by noise. My answer is to you personally, not to those who recognize injustice and act rather than react.

You still don't get it. If YOU ARE DISTURBED then the first thing to deal with is what is disturbing you, and it is not those who you are not approving off.

You have a knack of saying what really doesn't make sense...it is OK for others to ACT, but I am wrong when I act?
And Christ's one big sin (instead if FORGIVING) was FLIPPING the tables?
