Oh snap..the went and took Him off the cups, napkins, toothpicks and event the after dinner mint wrappers..
WHO? Who is asking WHO?
Why JESUS of course. Seems some very BIG commercial names have ERASED, no they have ERADICATED Jesus from certain consumable items like insulated hit drink cups.
Has anyone ever found Jesus' name on a RED SOLO CUP?
Anyways, where some stores would serve drinks (non-alcoholic?) in containers that blatantly proclaimed MERRY CHRISTMAS or JESUS IS THE REASON, the cups now are just RED or GREEN--good old seasonal colors minus the christian references to their deity.
Isn't it time we put CHRIST back where he belongs?
There is always the inside rims of COOK-OUT drinks cups..
Yeah, as a matter of fact my friend's Puerto Rican neighbor, Jesus, put his name on a red solo cup at her backyard barbecue last year. There was a keg so she put out a Sharpie so everyone could write his or her name on the cup and not get them mixed up.
For all of the easily offended Christians out there, you can now go to Dunkin Donuts and get your Christmas cups! I am still not sure how the word joy and a few leaves makes it about Christ, but whatever.
How many people today actually associate religion/jesus with Christmas? 40%? For most I know it's just a national holiday meant to be around family and sharing. It has nothing to do with religion per-say. Even though it was invented as a religious holiday.

December 25th was originally the date of a Pagan holiday.
Modern day Christmas is just a retail holiday. When people of other religions at my job tell me the get trees and decorate the house and gifts, but just keep Jesus out of it, its just more proof the day is just a day for presents and to get together with family.
Even if you try to religiously justify it as a Christian, you really cant anymore since all access to the true origins of Christmas is openly available to show its pagan origins and sadly many of those pagan symbols are still being used today.
Christmas may be a time set aside to celebrate the birth of Christ, but we know Dec 25th was originally is the day the pagans had celebrations for their sun gods birthday that day and that Rome merged many of that into Xmas, so we have what we have now. We cant really say we need to put the CHRIST back in Christmas, since they hijacked it from the pagans to begin with.
If Pagans or Atheists said its time to put the SATURN back in Saturnalia, they could remove Jesus from Christmas and pretty much nothing would change.
IF december 25 is the ONLY or primary time one is thinking about jesus, they are not only doing it WRONG, they are just advertising their bigotry and need for christian sharia law...

lol!
But it IS a fun way to celebrate the darkest days of the year. And I enjoy Christmas Eve church On the other hand, this holiday is quite a hassle, what with so many decorations, buying presents, mailing things... the older I get, the more I consider skipping it.
Arequipa, it is Christ, just some refer to it differently. You being an atheist might call it a gut feeling. I played the "all other beliefs are false" card for years...... I now have no doubt though that if a person seeks to know that which i call the Christ within they will know, they may call it something different, it may rile those who cannot accept it can be this way, but the one we all seek or neglect to seek is the Christ.
Based on my personal experience, it is either Christ or one heck of an imitation, pcamps!!!
