Anyone who claims to have the truth is deceived. No one owns truth.
Jesus believed Holy Scripture is ' religious truth ' - John 17:17 - and Jesus taught the truth of the Scriptures.
So, aren't the 1st-century teachings of Christ religious truth ?_________

No he did not and never came close to saying such a thing.
I have studied the bible for over 50 years--- I know 100% for sure the JW,s have truth--the teachings of Jesus prove it. When I attended trinity churches years ago searching for those who taught what Jesus taught--never in a building called a church--The JW teachers teach us every utterance from God as Jesus taught everyone must live by every utterance. The only thing that could contradict the JW,s are the errors found in all trinity translations--I have read a few of them--they contradict Jesus and his real teachers. The NWT corrected the errors. Errors made to fit false council teachings centuries ago so few have a clue.
Almost everything mentioned in the Bible is contradicted elsewhere in the Bible.
Wow, I stopped talking about religion with real people so long ago. It would seem strange to do it in my house.
I prefer face to face exchanges when possible. It makes it easier to judge how the other person or persons is dealing with the information I am presenting to them. Some people deal with it quite reasonably. Others, not so much.

Never. Mistranslating what is being taught is the contradiction. Many things are disguised to keep satan in spiritual darkness and yes the majority of mortals as well-- One must be taught by Jesus' real teachers--even Gods angels are desiring to see some truths- 1Peter 1:12

I have the worst communication skills on the computer, you should see me in a face to face, or rather them when they turn and run.

If you really believe that, you have not read the whole Bible.
I have read the whole bible--its mens mistranslating of it that has caused all the confusion.
Maybe you are mistranslating it.
