It's not a dictatorship where one person has control over laws and regulations with the swipe of a pen.

Maybe they say they are a Christian to get the voting block. OR - maybe they are simply answering an inquiry given to them.

You do not have to be a Christian to be against abortion, or be against same sex marriage. Anyone is free to be against those actions.
ALL Presidents follow the laws in place. If they don't, then they get impeached.
It is NOT the President's job to lead others to Christ.
The U.S. is NOT a dictatorship.

You still didn't answer the question. What do you expect a "Christian" President to do?
What has ANY Christian President done in your lifetime?

Whether a president of the nation is a Christian or not it make little difference as there is less than a hand full of Christians presidents in the last fifty years and they did not change the world .............See when a Christian president takes office you could never expect Him to forsake Jesus Christ , as It would never happen .................... Even though America is a Christian nation as if you have s large percentage of Christians who pray then the spiritual authority will be on the land by the creator God , who will bring insight......... where nations who largely ignore Jesus Christ will not have this creative blessing for their nation , and these nations who ignore Jesus will copy ideas and inventions brought by God from blessed nations to their nation

As I said, it doesn't matter if the President is a Christian, Jew, Muslim, or atheist. According to the Constitution, religion MUST be kept out of the American government.

We already know the evangelical is willing t be governed by a Mormon..so maybe a Socialistic Jew is not that far fetched.

Wasn't Christ a socialist Jew?
The VAST majority of the teachings of Jesus Christ are liberal.
His statement "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's", proves to me that He believed in the separation of church and state.

If a President believed that verse, then what would you expect him to do?

It is completely irrelevant if the President believes that verse.

An executive order granting personhood to the unborn is where they would start. Also an executive order demanding states ignore Obergefell. They couldn't achieve their ultimate goal of making homosexuality a capital crime right away, so they would start with a constitutional amendment defining marriage as a man and a woman. As culture continues to be transformed, they would find a way to roll back Lawrence v. Texas. There would be Russia-style anti-LGBT propaganda laws so while homosexuality would continue to be legal, it could not be shown in the media in a positive light.

Not too far down the line would be national education standards similar to Common Core, but emphasis on Christian heritage would be required in U.S. History and scientists would have to teach the weaknesses of evolutionary theory and allow creationist alternatives. The history curriculum would likely be written by David Barton and the science curriculum by Ken Ham. They would also push for school uniforms and for the school day to open with a Christian prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Achieving their ultimate goal won't happen this generation, but it can if a new generation is raised up indoctrinated with biased history and to oppose individual expression.

My dad who is a preacher says he hopes to one day see a law in this country where anything produced by Hollywood or the entertainment industry has to be approved by the leaders of a national Christian council before it can be put on the airwaves.

As years progress, look for them to gradually lock down the Internet. The Internet is a bastion of free thought and it has to be controlled if social conservatives are to ever achieve their dream society. Ever wonder why the GOP opposes net neutrality?

In their own words, responding to accusations that they want a theocracy, I have heard them say they simply want to roll back time to the late 1950s and that America wasn't a theocracy then, but the country had a shared Christian culture.

What evangelicals don't understand is how democracy works and the fact that no matter how much they wish they could, they cannot legislate culture back to the 1950s. The only way to do it would be with a dictatorship ala V for Vendetta.

Not to me it isn't. It means he recognizes a higher authority.

But you still haven't answered the question. What would such a president actually *do*, as opposed to a president who doesn't believe that?
