No. Jesus said to abide and remain in His word. That is why He gave His words to His followers and sent them as He was sent as recorded in the book of John.

Matthew 5:17

Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

"So in everything do unto others as you would have done to you for this sums up the law and the prophets."

I agree, because under the new covenant--LOVE-- a mortal heart wouldn't even consider stealing from their brother, or coveting his brother' things, or committing adultery on his mate or his brothers, and most assuredly would have 0 other gods before their face besides-YHWH)Jehovah), all the way down the line.
The problem is Few have this love--All just about love their family and friends, that is not the love Jesus spoke of, Love is to all our human family. And in the proper loving heart every mortal on earth is apart of our family, even if they are the opposite we still must maintain that love for them.

The one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.

The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

I'm the good shepherd.

Follow me.

"If only they had stood in my counsel, says the lord, if only they had declared my words to my people, they would have changed them from their wicked ways and their evil deeds."

"No one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and spirit."

"My chosen ones shall inherit my holy mountain, my servants shall dwell there." says the Lord

"The upright shall dwell in the land, the blameless shall remain in it."
