Back in the day I would read anything and everything, and I somehow managed to stay enthralled with the fundie movement for 15 years. It was actually the bible itself that taught me free will was not only GOOD, but what GOD wanted us to use.
He does not want BORG style worship--He has the angels for that--and even they seem to have FREE WILL as the story tells us that at least ONE rebelled and found his/her free will...Why aren't any of the Arch Angles WOMEN??

If "emergent church" teaches that 93.2 percent of those doctrines are a load of hooey cooked up by a controlling "clergy," that would be the right idea, and you would be right to advise people not to think, for the sake of your position.
