Love and mercy is a reference to having compassion, not one of causing pain and suffering.

Will that be on display from your front row seat when the god you believe in is casting your unbelieving family and friends into the lake of fire?.

yes, but if he has a case @ ...one of causing pain and suffering you, as the proxy for the Establishment, the guys placing hands on Trump to protect him from a 'concentrated satanic attack,' are somewhat in the position of address there. "causing pain and suffering" requires a response iow.

You have to cut down the trees of the forest to build your own mansion.
But I suppose the end justifies the means according to your theology?

However, something tells me:

"You won't be enjoying that golf course built on the backs of others."

I am talking about the love and mercy of Christ, but all you see it pain and suffering. Ask yourself why.

Love and mercy is having compassion in spite of what others do.
Remember, I am not the one who believes in eternal torment.
