One could have quite a bit of fun with this topic since the Gospel of Mark has Yeshua quoting from Isaiah 66:24, (Mark 9:48), and the Septuagint text for the Isaiah passage clearly reads κωλα, which is G2966 κῶλον, (from the base of G2849 κολάζω, kolazo, to curtail, to cut off in chastisement, to punish), and does not actually mean full bodily carcasses, (as usually rendered), but rather body parts as if lopped off, chopped off, or hacked off. With this in mind the surrounding context in Mark 9:42-50, (as well as the prophetic symbolism of Isaiah 66:19-24), is clearly an allegory for "punishing", "mortifying", "putting to sleep", or "putting to death" those unruly members of your house-body-temple until the Master returns, (as if from a far away journey), and restores them in a kingdom wherein dwells righteousness, (you are the joint-heir or co-inheritor of the kingdom). Unfortunately most ETC adherents ignore the surrounding context from Mark 9:42-50 and its relationship to Isaiah 66:24. Rather than plucking out their own offensive right eye or cutting off their own offensive right hand or foot they make the parable and allegory into a literal-physical eternal conscious torment in a fiery hell for those who disagree with their theology.

I find it odd that

A) The thought of God saving every human being ever born gets under your collar

B) You, for whatever reason decided to throw the topic of homosexuality into the mix.

Shall I surmise that you deem homosexuality as being an unpardonable sin?

And all God's people prayed!

The problem seems that there is too much faith in a book and not nearly enough faith in Christ the person.
