Well, it doesn't make me laugh, but - if God said, "Judge not lest ye be judged." and, we worry about aggravating God, wouldn't we also be afraid to pass a cursory judgement on someone?
In modern society, our court systems pass judgement all the time, but government is also a higher power that keeps society in order. Without government there is chaos and anarchy.
I'm a Christian, and not prone to judging anyone. I don't want the God of fire and brimstone annoyed at me, but I'm not against governments keeping the streets in order either.
Those who reject the words of the son of man condemn themselves. He did not come to condemn but to save.
The words, I love you, affirm that which you exhibit.
And love does not reject the words used to describe it.
