No, it is not selfish. Its rich that you'd insult people and then accuse them of selfishness if they point it out.

Contributions from worshippers 55 and older now account for almost two-thirds of evangelical churches’ income in the United States. A mere three percent of non-Christian Americans under 30 have a positive impression of evangelical Christianity, according to David Kinnaman, the Barna Group’s president. That’s down from 25 percent of baby boomers at a similar age. At present rates of attrition, two-thirds of evangelicals in their 20s will abandon church before they turn 30.
It is not a butt-kissing contest, it is about speaking the truth. Yes, many are offended by it and lash out, like you see on this forum, but many also listen and come to the light.

Liberal Christians go to the light.

Fundamentalists wallow in the darkness of ignorance.

I aint with those people, those Evangelicals but I was an Evangelical for 40 something years and although I no longer agree with any of them, they still do greater works and have more influence than most in America. Most have a lot of Passion for God also and while I would debate everything they are, I have to give them credit for bringing more people to God than anyone else in my opinion, even though I don't agree with their religion, I can see it as a tutor, or a beginning point in a walk with God.

Just like Paul said of a Pagan God, that they are tutors, they at least bring faith to people and get them in the mind of spiritual thinking.

Jesus had the supernatural ability to look at a man's heart. You do not.

I am kind of curious what caused your exodus from the evangelical camp? Do you attend any church?

You can't look at someone's heart? You can't see the good in someone's heart when they donate to a charity or give someone with a dead car battery a jump start? I can.

Too bad for you if you can't.

I don't attend any church, I just started studying the feasts and the promises of the feasts, I realized I needed to convert.
